Join its conservation efforts.
The National Park is an oceanic archipelago in the Mexican Pacific, internationally recognized for its extraordinary marine biodiversity and for protecting one of the best-preserved ecosystems on the planet. Its geographic isolation, four volcanic islands, and remarkable biological richness make it an essential refuge for iconic species such as sharks, giant mantas, whales, and sea turtles.
As the largest no-take marine protected area in North America, it serves as a key site for scientific research, ecological monitoring, and the conservation of fundamental processes that sustain ocean health.
Total area: 36.6 million acres
